Here are some ideas to consider doing prior to listing your home.

Cut, weed, and feed lawn

Trim shrubs, trees, hedges

Clean up and organize outside of your home

Clean windows

Add or replace welcome mat

Organize closets

Clear countertops, cabinets, shelves, and appliances of clutter

Clean appliances thoroughly

Dust corners, moldings, and cills

Repaint or touch-up walls and ceilings

Change furnace filters

Shampoo carpets and wash floors

Clean curtains, shutters, and blinds

Clean fireplace and hearth

Replace shower curtain

Store all bathroom clutter and personal items

Replace or fix faucets, fixtures and tiles

Set the tables with linen napkins and placemats

Add fresh flowers to rooms

Slice a fresh lemon and run it through your garbage disposer

Add decorative pillows to made beds, couches, and seating areas

Freshen air with candles or air freshener
