The town of Gilford is a recreational dream for all seasons.  This is why the town has adopted the motto of the “Recreation Center of New Hampshire” offering water sports in the summer on the lake and skiing in the winter on Gunstock Mountain in the winter.  The city offers annual events that keep the community connected through out the seasons.
