Seller/Buyer - susan connelly New Hampshire
If you are reading because you want to know what kind of house I bought or how much I paid, skip this review. Everyone talks about closing, as in The Closing. Guess what? Every step is a close because you can't get to The Close unless all preceding requirements are fulfilled. You want someone leading that charge for you. I am writing about Charlotte Marrocco-Mohler and how she helped me navigate through these tricky waters. I had owned a few homes over the years so had some basic knowledge of the buying and selling process. I work in a detail oriented field, so am the type of person that most people hate. I always find typos in restaurant menus, that type of thing. I don't worry about things but I do check to see everything is done right, on time without error. When I decided to sell my home I checked the internet (don't we all?) to see who I should give my hard earned money to. You will be paying this person, so you have every right to ask questions, hire or not hire. There are many service professionals to choose from. I chose Charlotte because she has exemplary reviews and because she answered her phone the first time I tried to reach her: Late on a Friday, in the summer. I hired Charlotte. I liked her immediately because, like me, she is a straight shooter and reminds me of my own family, witty, smart, to the point. She does not suffer fools, as the saying goes. Neither do I. I won't walk through all the steps here because it would be a very long review indeed. Charlotte was instrumental in selling my home and negotiating and closing on our new home. It's been a long 3 months, between the moment we decided to sell to actually moving into the new place. There's loads to do in between, the majority of which is no picnic. One of the other major benefits of having Charlotte on my team is that she has a wealth of information about the market and of this region. So what, you think? So this...she did not push me to use any particular person, but when I inquired, like, "Hey do you know a good mortgage lender? (he was OUTSTANDING), or a good inspector? (he was a DREAM) or Title Agent? (she was PHENOMENAL), it really, really matters. They all like Charlotte, I mean really like her. They told me this (I felt proud of her). They are all in the biz, cross each other's paths on a regular basis, have established relationships and know how to communicate with each other, all while being professional. Recite after me, time is of the essence. Getting things done quickly and accurately every step of the way (with many steps) is of the utmost importance. Back to Charlotte, herself. She has such a sense of humor, doesn't sweat the small stuff, gets thing done and is always available. She has your interests at the forefront, will fight for you, ensures your goals are aligned. She is confident and not wishy-washy. She is not doing this on the side while she has many other gigs going on. This is her life. She loves it. It shows. Thanks Charlotte. I am happy to know you.
